Ronald Woodall is best known for his illustrated books, "Magnificent Derelicts" and "Taken by the Wind: Vanishing Architecture of the West." This print is included in "Magnificent Derelicts."
This is a fantastic lithographic print of a watercolor of an old church on a hilltop. It is signed Ronald Woodall in the lower right corner. It is printed on heavy watercolor stock and looks and feels like an original. I have been told however that it is a print.
It is only the size that makes me go along with that opinion as the work is so detailed that I think it has been reduced from the original work. The paper is even warped the way an original watercolor would be. This is not the result of damage.
The print is almost edge to edge (about 1/4 inch of white space surrounding it). It measures 9.5 x 14.5 inches. Condition is excellent. I don't think this has ever been framed.
